Our Story
Hello parents!
You met Amanda and Girindra here. We are two mothers and friends who have known each other since we took a master degree and pursued apprenticeships in Hamburg, Germany in 2014-2019. Currently we are moving to Lombok for good.
Amanda has two beautiful daughters from her marriage to a French man, and Girindra has one daughter from her marriage to a German man. Our children are the source of our inspiration to establish daycare in Lombok. The opening of this daycare is based on our personal needs.
We realize the potential for developing education on the most stunning island of Indonesia, Lombok. We noticed after many school visits, especially for early childhood, something is still lacking. Some of the approaches in the schools we encountered did not carry out the approach we hoped for.
Like any other parent, we want the best for our children. And we hope, we will give the best values tor child in the Emmilou daycare that we have been developing.

About Emmilou Daycare
Emmilou is an abbreviation of our children’s names:
Emma Minze and Louna. They are a source of inspiration that drives us to be better people day by day.
Children should be introduced to the world with joy and sense of feeling secure, and they should be taught to respect the environment and local customs. We want to learn and grow together with them to respect nature and local culture.
We strive for the best in terms of learning and the environment. Not only about being creative and smart, we want children to grow up with all the capacities they have to serve, respect the environment and each other.
We want us, as parents, to grow and learn together from and for our children for a better future.
